Auf Empfehlung einer befreundeten Backpackerin haben wir erst einmal eine Schlafhütte im Hostel *Yasin Bungalows* per EMail reserviert. Als wir ankamen, entschlossen wir schnell, dass wir etwas anderes finden müssen. Die Hütten sind wirklich cool aber die Sanitären Anlagen sehr minimalistisch und der Geruch nach *Klomint* bzw *Kakerlakenvernichtungsbonbons* raubte uns den Atem ;). Wir haben uns dann zum Hauptresort fahren lassen und uns dort die Zimmer angesehen. Sommerferien ist absolute Nebensaison auf Bintan und nur am Wochenende stürmen ein paar Expats auf die Insel. Das Personal freute sich also riesig über Gäste die 10 Tage bleiben wollten. Während der ganzen Zeit haben sie sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Die Zimmer sind top und das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt von vorne bis hinten. Das Essen ist gut. Es werden viele Transfers vom Resort aus angeboten. Der General Manager hat einige Zeit in Deutschland gelebt und hat sich sehr gefreut ein bisschen mit uns zu schnacken. Er hat sich sogar die Zeit genommen und uns ein paar Tempel in der Umgebung gezeigt. Leider hat das Resort keinen tollen Strand, es hat Ebbe und Flut, aber es gibt ein weiteres Schwesterresort mit kleinem Strand und super sauberem Wasser. Ausserdem besteht die Möglichkeit viele Wasseraktivitäten zu machen. Kitesurfen, Bananenreiten und anderes - sowie Schnorcheltrips zu benachbarten Inseln. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können dieses Resort absolut weiter empfehlen.
