Big Bear Lake, California is a mountain paradise 60 miles east of Los Angeles (2 hours drive) in the San Bernardino National Forest.
The hostel is centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the lake across the street. The bus stops at the corner and you can walk to shops, pubs, movie theaters, visitor center, fast food, restaurants, tourist shops, arcade, the lake, kayak rentals, bike rentals, fishing, snowplay/slide hill, lakeside parks, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, pool hall, jet ski rentals, boat tours and more!

Hostels are a great way to travel on a budget and meet new people. Many Americans are new to hostels. Basically, you rent a bed in a dormitory with other people or rent a private room, and you share the rest of the lodge/hostel (kitchen, living room, bathrooms)with other guests.
