Our hostel is located in an old and beautiful villa in barrio Bellavista, Santiago’s bohemian district. Just renovated, the building dates back to de 1940´s and has carefully been restored, respecting its historical structure. Simultaneously, we also incorporated modern materials to guarantee a pleasant stay.
Our philosophy consists in offering a good accommodation alternative by creating an economic and safe lodging within a relaxed and familiar atmosphere. We believe that ample shared spaces and comfortable rooms are the key for having a pleasant stay.

Das Hostal del Barrio befindet sich -ruhig gelegen- in einer alten und wunderschönen Villa im Barrio Bellavista, dem Kneipen- und Künstlerviertel von Santiago. Das frisch renovierte Gebäude stammt aus den 40er Jahren des vergangenen Jahrhunderts und wurde für seine jetzige Nutzung liebevoll umstrukturiert. In die historische, traditionelle Bauweise wurden moderne Materialien integriert, um einen rundum angenehmen Aufenthalt zu garantieren.
Unsere Philosophie besteht darin, unseren Gästen eine Alternative für ihren Chile-Aufenthalt anzubieten, die sowohl günstig als auch sicher ist und familiäres Ambiente bietet. Grosszügige Gemeinschaftsräume und komfortable Zimmer sind für uns der Schlüssel für einen angenehmen und bequmen Aufenthalt.

Price Range:
our prices start at 8.000 Chilean Pesos per person/night for a 4bed dorm, then depending on the room category (dorms, private rooms, shared or private bathroom, suite) range from 10.000 Chilean Pesos per person/night to 20.000 (double), 25.000 (double ensuite), 36.000 (triple ensuite), up to 40.000 (suite) Chilean Pesos room/night.
All prices include breakfast.
Payment:
Our guests only pay once they stay with us - we do not charge deposits on making the reservation, a confirmation by email is enough!
We do not accept credit cards, payment is done in cash.
